tpd comprehensive support for persons with disabilities

Social services play a crucial role in supporting people with intellectual disabilities or autism by providing essential resources, advocacy, and support to enhance their quality of life. At this session, participants will learn about three different approaches to the provision of support for persons with disabilities across Europe.

leveraging technology to design the future of long term care (1)

As one of the fastest-growing sectors, the care economy is crucial for a well-functioning society, a thriving economy, and a diverse and inclusive workforce. It is also essential to the wellbeing of some of our most vulnerable groups, including older people and people with disabilities. At present, though, the care economy is unprepared to meet future needs and deliver the best possible outcomes for citizens. A new sustainable care model is needed — enabled by technology — that delivers social value.

Reflective Practice involves critically assessing one’s own actions, performance, experiences and decisions. This training session aims to modernise reflective practice in social care through empowering practitioners to develop models based on practice wisdom.

vincles big data technology for addressing loneliness

Vincles and Auzosare are programmes that aim to address loneliness among older people by combining technological innovation with community care plans. By using data science, information from various dispersed and unconnected sources is automatically processed to detect and classify older people at risk of unwanted loneliness.
