The City of Aarhus is pleased to invite you to a reception at Aarhus City Hall. Although over 75 years old, Aarhus City Hall remains a modern, functionalist building that still houses the municipality of Aarhus and hosts major events throughout the year. Built by the famous Danish architect Arne Jacobsen and clad in Norwegian marble, it represents Danish design and architecture at their best and is widely recognized as a significant symbol of Aarhus and Danish architecture.
Guests will be welcomed by Anders Winnerskjold, the Mayor of Aarhus Municipality, and Anders Kuhnau, Chairman of the Regional Council. During the reception, light refreshments will be served, and we will celebrate the summer solstice, locally known as Sankt Hans.
Following the reception, guests are welcome to check out some of Aarhus’ renowned restaurants.
