Ariane Aumaitre has worked in a number of policy areas including child poverty, social inclusion and social protection in the area of long-term care. She is currently completing her PhD in Political and Social Sciences at the European University Institute in Florence, where her research focuses on inequality and welfare state dynamics with a long-term perspective.
