Ann-Britt Wetche is the Director of Social Services in the Central Denmark Region. Since 2014 she has been responsible for the region’s specialised social services, where she oversees the development of 65 services for citizens with physical and mental disabilities. With a long career in the social services sector, she has previously held leadership positions in the Aarhus Municipality within social and employment services.

Ann-Britt holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from Aarhus University. She is deeply committed to improving conditions for vulnerable groups in society.

In the development of a vision and action plan for specialised social services, Ann-Britt has played a key role in guiding and driving the process. The plan focuses on involving citizens and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration between health and social care professionals.
