Apply now to share your experience, inspire social service leaders and generate ideas on transforming social services through relational welfare and welfare technology.
The European Social Services Conference (ESSC 2025) is the largest public forum for leaders in social services in Europe. Make your work and experience part of the discussion at our 2025 Conference to inspire ideas on relational welfare approaches and welfare technology in the design and delivery of social services.
Who can apply?
We welcome proposals, amongst others, from:
- Public authorities
- Universities and research centres
- Industry leads
- Professional associations
- Third sector organisations
- Innovators working with social services
Organisations can benefit from guaranteed speaking opportunities and/or a guaranteed slot in the programme through the conference partnership programme (provided they have a project/solution/tool to showcase that is relevant to the conference theme). Note that these opportunities are limited for private organisations as priority in the programme is given to public, research, or 3rd sector organisations. How to apply?
You may submit an application form under:
- Theme 1: Relational Welfare approaches in social services
- Theme 2: Technology in Social Services
- A combination of themes 1 and 2 if you can demonstrate that your programme combines elements of the two themes – relational welfare approaches and welfare technology.
You can submit a maximum of 2 proposals per organisation for:
- Case study or Workshop
- Thematic panel discussion
- Project Forum
- Practice Fair

Deadline for applications
12 November 2024: for proposals submitted in French, Italian, German, Spanish
19 November 2024: for proposals submitted in English
