For over 25 years Isaac has been involved in community-based social justice, focusing on equitable opportunities for marginalised communities. Central to Isaac’s work is storytelling and the language used to talk about people. Driven by empathy, Isaac is committed to pushing for change until everyone realises equality.

Isaac’s achievements include:

• Wielding considerable influence and successful in reducing barriers faced by people who have impairments by ensuring challenges are explored in an open, honest, reflective way that supports people to retell their narratives.
• Sharing a personal narrative and drawing on the narratives of others to support the goal of ensuring that everyone has the same opportunities regardless of impairment, age and socio-economic backgrounds.
• Supporting a number of important social changes over the years from LGBT+ rights to choice & control and co-production.
