Biography
Judy Gannon is a Programme Manager on the Health and Social Care Standards team in the Health Information and Quality (HIQA) in Ireland. Since joining HIQA in 2013, she has worked as an inspector on healthcare investigations and inspection programmes. In her current role, she leads the development of Ireland’s first set of National Standards for Home Support Services and implementation support tools, which has involved extensive engagement with people using services, to ensure the standards reflect their lived experiences and focus on the outcomes that are important to them.
Judy has previously worked in quality and risk management in public and private hospital settings and led a National Quality Assurance Programme. She completed a Medical degree from the University of Liverpool in 2006 and holds postgraduate qualifications in Public Health, Governance and Healthcare Risk Management and Quality.
