Martin is a consultant with a background in science and technology studies and user experience design. He specialises in integrating assistive technology into social care, with a strong focus on empowerment and enhancing the quality of life for vulnerable people. Martin’s expertise lies in simplifying the interaction between users and technology, ensuring that new solutions meet real human needs.

His work includes leading a sleep-enhancing technology project across many target groups including people with autism spectrum disorder, acquired brain injury, developmental disorders or mental health disorders.

Through his work, Martin advocates a human-centred approach, believing that most of the effort in care innovation relies on personal, professional and organisational aspects, with technology supporting but never driving care.

Additionally, Martin actively fosters knowledge sharing in a dedicated network group within Central Denmark Region, and furthermore among Danish municipalities, RTOs, and educational organisations, paving the way for future cross-sector scalable solutions in social care.
