Mats Eriksson is head of the R&D Centre in Care and Social Work in the county of Östergötland, Sweden.

He is an expert in the development and management of R&D Projects from local to international levels and has acted as Project Manager for a substantial number of R & D projects in the last 25 years.

He is a former chair and now a board member of the Swedish Association for the R&D Centres. Over the years he has established strong links with research departments, R & D actors and social service providers/authorities at regional, national and international levels.
