Miquel holds a degree in Geography and History. He is responsible for the Development and Innovation Support Section of Basic Social Services of the Social Sustainability, Life Cycle and Community Area of Diputació de Barcelona.

He has worked in different non-profit associations and public administrations. He is specialised in the organisation and management of the Social Services System, especially those at the municipal level.
