How can human-centred design be part of the development of digital tools to enhance children’s welfare services?

Modern technology can be a powerful tool in gathering key data and improving service delivery but requires usability in order to ensure thorough system adoption and intended outcomes.

Join us for a webinar, organised in partnership with Binti, as part of the follow-up to the 2023 European Social Services Conference to discuss how
human-centred design can be a part of the development of digital tools to ensure usability.

Gain insight into tools for daily work and strategic planning, initiating conversations about human-centred design, creating structured plans for implementation, and designing systems both for compliance and user needs.

Learn ways how system design can go a step beyond compliance to reduce paper work, data entry, and redundant tasks to allow social workers to focus more on the needs of young people and families in their care.

Understand how digital tools can provide real time data and insights for executive teams, and in turn allow them to make more informed decisions about what they are doing and why.

Ms. Liebschutz will share how human-centred design influences their solutions, resulting in reduced administrative burdens and positive outcomes for families, as well as research that has allowed them to reduce administrative burdens for staff and support positive outcomes for families, such as helping license 30% more foster carers and matching children and young people to the best family settings.
