Sam has worked for over 20 years in local government, in roles spanning corporate policy, partnerships, and performance, with a particular focus on children’s and adults’ social care and its interface with health services. Her experience covers a wide range of local authorities—large and small, rural and urban—giving her a deep understanding of delivering public services across diverse communities.

Sam is currently the Executive Director for ASC and Health at Kingston upon Thames in London and the Vice – Chair of the London Association of Directors of Adult Social Services. She is passionate about a person-centred approach and views digital transformation as key to achieving this.
