Slavko Bolčević is an experienced leader in the social care sector, currently serving as the Director of the Tončka Hočevar work and care centre in Ljubljana. With over 25 years of expertise in social services management, healthcare administration, and quality assurance, he has played a crucial role in implementing innovative care models that integrate technology into social services. His work has focused on enhancing healthcare standards, infection control, and long-term care strategies, particularly for vulnerable populations.

A certified Quality Management Representative (IQNET, SIQ), Bolčević has been instrumental in digitalising social care processes and fostering data-driven decision-making in long-term care facilities. He actively contributes to national policy development as a member of multiple expert committees on healthcare and elderly care, working on regulatory improvements for integrated geriatric services. His leadership in transforming social care through digitalisation aligns with the conference’s vision of “Where Care Meets Tech.”
