Delegates participating in the 33rd European Social Services Conference can benefit from specially negotiated accommodation rates with hotels located close to the conference venue. Below are a range of options for delegates to choose from.

WAKE UP AARHUS (**)
Wakeup Aarhus a smart and stylish hotel designed by Danish Danish architect Kim Utzon. With a focus on functionality and design the inviting rooms contain of 12-15 m2 include air conditioning, TV, a good workspace and free Wi-Fi. Wakeup Aarhus can compete with many 3- and 4-star hotels, but in terms of price, the hotel is at a 2-star level.

TRAVEL
Aarhus is easily accessible by air, rail, and road. For more sustainable travel, we recommend traveling by rail or road if possible.
Air Travel:
Aarhus Airport is the closest airport to the city. From Aarhus Airport, you can take a direct bus (925X) to Aarhus city center. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes.

- Shuttle buses depart within minutes of every flight arrival.
- Direct flights to London, Copenhagen, Oslo, Gothenburg, Stockholm, Milan, Riga, Bucharest, ect.
Copenhagen Airport is a major international hub. From Copenhagen, you can take a direct train to Aarhus. Train tickets can be purchased at the DSB ticket office in Terminal 3 or online on the DSB website. The journey by train takes about 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Alternatively, there are domestic flights from Copenhagen to Aarhus Airport.

Billund Airport is another option, especially for European flights. From Billund Airport, you can take a direct bus (912X) to Aarhus, which takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

- Shuttle busses leave every hour and take you straight to the centre of Aarhus.
- Direct flights to Amsterdam, Paris, Frankfurt, London, Riga, Reykjavik, Copenhagen, Madrid, Brussels, Warsaw and Helsinki, Berlin, Zürich, Düsseldorf, Vienna, Barcelona, Rome, Budapest, Athens, Prague, Edinburgh, Dublin, ect.
Aalborg Airport is located in Northern Denmark and is another convenient option for reaching Aarhus.
From Aalborg Airport, you can take a train or a bus to Aarhus. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes by train or 2 hours by bus.

Rail:
The Danish railway system is clean, friendly, safe, and efficient and routes connecting Aarhus to Copenhagen run frequently every hour. Aarhus is mainly connected to Europe by a railway hub in Hamburg, reached within four hours. From here you will find connections to larger European cities and within 14 hours you can reach Aarhus by train from a great part of Europe – Munich, Amsterdam, Brussels, Frankfurt, Prague, Paris, Berlin, and Vienna.
The official Danish rail operator is DSB. Aarhus Central Station is well-connected with regular train services from Copenhagen and other major cities in Denmark. For more information on train schedules and tickets, visit the DSB website.
Road:
There are several bus operators providing services to Aarhus:

For those driving, Aarhus is well-connected by major highways, and parking is available at various locations in the city.
