Delegates attending the ESSC 2024 can take advantage of special rates for a range of accommodation options in Antwerp. A limited number of rooms are available at discounted rates. We, therefore, strongly recommend that you book your hotel room as soon as possible.
The deadline to avail of these rates is 26th May 2024. Antwerp is a small city, and we strongly encourage you make your reservation early to avoid disappointment. Room reservations can be cancelled until 15 days before the date of arrival.

Location: The Handelsbeurs
Built in 1872, the Handelsbeurs functioned until 1997 as the Antwerp Stock Exchange. The beautiful nineteenth-century neo-Gothic building re-opened in 2019 as a mesmerizing multi-functional events space. Handelsbeurs Antwerp is located in the historic center of Antwerp, a 10-minute walk from Central Station and close to tram and bus.
GALA DINNER
Location: The Horta Grand Café and Art Nouveau Hall
The Horta’s specially designed event space will host the ESSC 2024’s Gala Dinner. Designed in honour of the architect Victor Horta, the Art Nouveau Hall was strikingly built to accommodate the original girders from Het Volkshuis (House of the People), a magnificent building in the centre of Brussels, designed by Horta, which had housed a co-operative company, managed by the Belgian socialist party.

The conference will take place in the Hotel Clarion Malmö Live, situated close to Malmö Central station.
To reach the conference venue, it is recommended to take a train to Malmö Central station or to fly into Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup. There is a train station located in Copenhagen Airport and the train takes you directly to Malmö Central station. The journey takes less than 30 minutes.
