As a member of the board of ANDASS (National Association of Directors of Social Care and Health in County Councils) in France, Arnaud Lopez works as social affairs director in ‘Départements’ (county councils), with more than a million inhabitants. He started managing social services in a county council in the North of France, where he focused on autonomy policy for elderly and disabled people. Since May 2019, he has worked with the Department of Hauts-de-Seine, where he successively became director of solidarity and was responsible for nearly 950 agents. His current role with the Department of Hauts-de-Seine is director of Child Protection and Family Support.

Sharing his experiences with other colleague from other countries is an important part of his commitment to build bridges between citizens across Europe.
